Terms and Conditions
• Vouchers are sent by email
in PDF format. If you need a hard copy posted to you, please let us know
when making your purchase.
• Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase, but participants must leave plenty of time (at least 6 weeks during the summer/autumn season) to book their flight before the expiry date.
• Customers can extend their voucher for an additional six months at a cost of £20, as long as they contact us before the voucher expires
• Vouchers are non-refundable
except under exceptional circumstances. An admin charge of £25 (microlighting) may apply to any refund issued.
• Weight Restrictions: Our maximum passenger weight is 16½ stone
for microlighting. Check with us prior to booking
if you are unsure about weight limits.
• Age restrictions: minimum age is 10 years old for microlighting. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a
parent/guardian. Please contact us prior to booking if the participant
is over 70 years old.
• Other restrictions: participants should be fit and healthy. Please contact
us prior to booking if you are not sure how an impairment or health condition
might affect the participant’s eligibility to fly.
• Please bear in mind when making your travel and accommodation arrangements,
that microlight flying is weather dependent, and that
the conditions will be assessed by the instructor only the day before at the
earliest. We will only fly if the conditions are suitable to be sure you
have a safe and enjoyable flight. Click here
to learn more about the weather and how it may affect your booking.
• If your flight is cancelled due to poor weather conditions then you
will be offered alternative dates. If your voucher is due to expire then
it will be extended until the next mutually convenient date, provided
you have been back in touch to rebook within a fortnight of your cancelled
flight. We do not issue refunds in the event of cancellation due to poor
weather.
• Your safety is paramount and, if we have to cancel your flight for any
other reason such as maintenance/equipment problems or pilot sickness,
then your flight will be rescheduled for a mutually agreeable date. We
do not issue refunds under these circumstances.
• You must give at least 48 hours notice (microlight flights) to cancel your flight. Cancellation within
these periods or ‘no shows’ will be considered to be redeemed.
• We reserve the right to refuse to fly any participant who:
- does not meet the restriction requirements;
- has consumed alcohol or drugs;
- refuses to follow reasonable health and
safety instructions;
- and/or behaves anti-socially or aggressively
to staff or other passengers
Under such circumstances, the participant’s voucher will be considered
redeemed and no refund or alternative flight will be given.
